Maths Link: Comparing and contrasting heights – measuring, recording information in a graph

We have been learning about the parts of the body – we have identified our senses and can talk about what each sense can do. We sang ‘My Senses’ song and matched pictures of the senses and their functions. We have also been learning about the differences between people – colour of eyes, hair, height. We looked at each person in our classroom and recorded the differences between them in a graph. We noticed that we are all different heights. We lined up in order of height. We drew around each child on large pieces of paper and then compared the bodies.
